Renato Redentor Constantino

Renato Redentor Constantino is the author of The Poverty of Memory: Essays on History and Empire (CFNS, 2006). His essays on history and memory have been translated into several languages. For over two decades, Constantino has worked as advocate, advisor and campaigner on climate and energy policy, and environment and development issues, in arenas spanning Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia, and Central Asia. He is a board member of the Oakland-based human rights group International Accountability Project, the Freedom from Debt Coalition and the Constantino Foundation. Constantino is the executive director of the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities (iCSC).
